Longboard Builds

The build I keep coming back to.

Entry notes

I have always liked building longboards. Each one is a chance to change the deck shape, try a different finish or graphic, work out a new grip layout, and end with something I can actually ride.

01

Trying another shape

Some started as straightforward decks. Others used deep cutouts and a more open structure. Building several let me keep adjusting the proportions instead of treating one design as final.

02

Making each one different

The boards became a place to experiment with paint, graphics, contrasting wood, grip tape, and the small details that make a finished setup feel personal.

03

Finishing with a ride

A longboard is only finished when the trucks and wheels are on and it works on pavement. That final ride turns the design and woodworking decisions into immediate feedback.
